Cycling Club
More than a cycling club - bringing together cycling, people and shared goals.
Superior CC is more than just a cycling club – it is a community. Group rides, training sessions, cycling camps and social events bring together people who share a passion for cycling. We believe that true progress comes through collaboration rather than competing against one another – supporting, motivating and helping each other achieve our goals.
Regular physical activity improves well-being, builds endurance and supports both physical and mental health. Superior CC encourages an active and balanced lifestyle. Balanced nutrition, sufficient rest and mindful recovery are just as important as training itself. Our goal is to make cycling an enjoyable lifelong habit, because we have experienced it ourselves – Mens sana in corpore sano – a healthy mind in a healthy body.
For those who want to challenge themselves, Superior CC offers opportunities to participate in cycling events and competitions both in Estonia and internationally. Through shared training, preparation and team spirit, we support our members in achieving their personal goals – whether it is their first race or a new personal best.
Superior Cycling Club was founded on 2 February 2009 by a group of friends brought together by a shared passion for sport and an active lifestyle.
The club brings together people who enjoy being active and, above all, share a passion for cycling – whether through group rides on Estonian roads, training sessions, cycling camps or adventures further afield.
Since its foundation, the club has been a member of the Estonian Cyclists Union under the name CC Superior (Cycling Club Superior). At the heart of our activities are cycling together, a healthy lifestyle and, most importantly, great company.
Most of our members enjoy cycling primarily as a hobby, for well-being and as a way to challenge themselves. At the same time, the club also includes active competitors who participate in races both in Estonia and internationally.
Superior CC brings together people with different backgrounds, levels of experience and ambitions, united by a shared passion for cycling. For some, cycling is about great company and shared kilometres; for others, it is about challenging themselves, training or competing.
What connects us is not our position on the results sheet, but the journey towards it – the rides we share, the experiences, the support we give each other and the simple joy of cycling.
Every member has their own story. Tõnu's is one of them.
CC Superior’s most active competitive cyclist is Tõnu Ord, who competes in the Masters M55–59 age category. The club’s members also include former Estonian national road cycling team rider Martin Puusepp, who competed professionally at the Pro Continental level. Since then, he has participated in all three of cycling’s Grand Tours, as well as the world’s most prestigious races, working as a massage therapist and physiotherapist for the Red Bull–BORA–hansgrohe team.
We believe that the same dedication, perseverance, and ambition to excel in their field also define our members beyond cycling – in their everyday professional lives and entrepreneurial pursuits.
Among the members of Superior CC is former Estonian national road cycling team member Martin Puusepp, who competed professionally at Pro Continental level.
His journey in cycling has since taken him behind the scenes of professional sport – working as a masseur and physiotherapist with Red Bull–BORA–hansgrohe, he has been part of all three Grand Tours and many of the world's most prestigious cycling races.
Martin's story is a great example of how a passion for cycling can take many different forms – competing, supporting others, or simply enjoying cycling as part of an active lifestyle.
One of our active competitive cyclists is Tõnu Ord, who competes in the Masters M55–59 age category. His strongest disciplines are road and track cycling, although he has also achieved strong results in gravel and mountain bike racing.
Tõnu has been involved in competitive cycling since the age of 11. In his youth, he represented the Estonian national team and later competed as part of the former Soviet Union Trade Unions track cycling team.
Some of his most significant recent achievements have come at the Masters Track World Championships, where he has finished 5th, 7th and 9th in different events. These results demonstrate the intensity of competition among the world's best Masters cyclists and provide motivation to pursue a World Championship medal.
Internationally, Tõnu has also achieved podium finishes at the Lithuanian Winter Track Cup, successfully competing against significantly younger riders. In Estonia, he is among the leading cyclists in his age category. Over the past two seasons, he has won Estonian Championship titles in both the road race and individual time trial, while adding numerous podium finishes in road, gravel, mountain bike and track competitions. Tõnu's goal is to continue competing actively both in Estonia and internationally and to demonstrate that dedication, consistency and a passion for cycling make it possible to set new goals at any age.
At Superior CC, cycling does not always need a race number or a finish line. Sometimes the best ride is simply about great company, a new route and a few hours in the saddle.
What matters to us is that everyone finds their own challenge and enjoyment in cycling – whether the goal is a race result, better fitness, a longer distance or simply the desire to stay active.
